Our Vision
Our purpose is clear and simple – to work towards long-term, sustainable projects and provide the means of a life outside of poverty for the world’s most vulnerable
Since 1999 we have kick-started development in remote villages around the world, empowering rural communities by providing the basic necessities of life from Water, Sanitation, Education, Livelihood and Socio-Economic Development thus lifting them out of poverty
Our Projects
Water Aid
Access to a clean and constant supply of clean water is essential for life. Not only does it keep the human body alive and functioning, but regular hygiene staves off diseases whilst regular access to water helps crops to grow and allows farmers to grow livestock.
Food Aid
People living in developing countries like The Gambia, particularly those in rural areas are some of the most deserving people of food packages. This is increasingly important during off peak seasons as Gambia is a country reliant on aid.
Ramadhan Distribution
This project is carried out just weeks prior to Ramadhan so that the poor and needy have sufficient provisions to carry out their obligation of fasting. The aid is targeted to those most in need and spreads out all across the provinces of The Gambia.

Orphanages
Project Gambia has constructed and maintain a number of orphanages across The Gambio to protect, nurture and educate the young.
Masjids
Project Gambia has helped our donors to construct Masaajids in remote and rural areas of Gambia where the community do not have access to a Masjid to pray their Salaah and perform Islamic education programmes.
Eid Qurbani
Project Gambia has lunched the 2020 Qurbani Appeal. To help out donors fulfil their Qurbani obligation we are able to offer it on your behalf in The Gambia for those that may only have the opportunity to eat meat once a year.
Education
Everyone is entitled to an education, to work, to an opportunity to learn and develop skills to give them a fighting chance of survival and a life outside of poverty.
Community Projects
Project Gambia has been running a number of community projects across The Gambia to help communities be self-sustainable. From local bakeries to growing crops we can work with our donors to take your idea to reality.
Medical Health
Medical care and access to vital medicines is a significant challenge for remote communities in The Gambia. Project Gambia has facilitated construction of hospitals and local community health initiatives to improve health care within communities
